Coco
Coco’s story is one of quiet consistency, gentle presence, and a lifetime spent helping others feel at ease.
Born in 2001, Coco has long been a part of the mini herd at Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, where his calm nature and steady demeanor have made him a natural fit for connection and companionship. Over the years, he has helped shape the foundation of our miniature horse program—bringing a sense of comfort and approachability to all who meet him.
Now serving as a therapy horse, Coco plays an important role in sessions where a softer, more accessible presence is needed. His smaller size makes him especially inviting, while his quiet, dependable personality helps participants feel safe and grounded from the very first interaction.
Coco doesn’t seek the spotlight—but he never turns away from someone who needs a moment of calm. Whether standing quietly beside a child, offering a reassuring presence in a session, or simply sharing space without expectation, Coco brings a sense of steadiness that allows people to slow down and connect in a meaningful way.
His impact is not loud—but it is lasting. By supporting Coco, you are helping ensure that his gentle work continues, providing comfort, confidence, and connection to those who need it most.
Coco offers something simple and powerful— a calm presence, a quiet moment, and the space to just be
